電力電纜一般按照其絕緣類型分為聚氯乙烯絕緣(塑料)電力電纜、交聯聚乙烯絕緣電力電纜、橡皮絕緣電力電纜、充油及油浸紙絕緣電力電纜,按工作類型和性質可分為一般普通電力電纜、架空用電力電纜、礦山井下用電力電纜、海底用電力電纜、防(耐)火阻燃型電力電纜等類型。

  1.銅芯導體電力電纜

  目前國內低壓電力電纜都為各芯線共同絞合成纜,這種結構的電纜抗干擾能力較差,抗雷擊的性能也差,電纜的三相阻抗不平衡和零序阻抗大,難以使線路保護電器可靠地動作等。

  2.交聯聚乙烯絕緣電力電纜

  簡稱XLPE電纜,它是利用化學或物理的方法使電纜的絕緣材料聚乙烯塑料的分子由線型結構轉變為立體的網狀結構,即把原來是熱塑性的聚乙烯轉變成熱固性的交聯聚乙烯塑料,從而大幅度地提高了電纜的耐熱性能和使用壽命,仍保持其優良的電氣性能。

  3.聚氯乙烯絕緣聚氯乙烯護套電力電纜

  聚氯乙烯絕緣聚氯乙烯護套電力電纜長期工作溫度不超過70℃,電纜導體的高溫度不超過160℃。短路長持續時間不超過5s,施工敷設低溫度不得低于0℃。
