電力電纜在運行中發熱的原因是什么?

電力電纜通過一定負載電流時,一定會發熱的,隨著負載電流的增大,電纜表面溫度就越高,如果不及時處理,后果可想而知。如:聚氯乙烯(PVC)電纜,是以線芯溫度70度為上限考慮的,表面溫度會低5~10度。所以電纜表面溫度在60度以下基本是安全的,從電源維護考慮,當然是溫度越低越好。

電纜在運行中發熱原因如下:

1. 電纜導體電阻不符合要求,造成電纜在運行中產生發熱現象。

2. 電纜選擇型不當,造成使用的電纜的導體截面過小,運行中產生過載現象,長時間使用后,電纜的發熱和散熱不平衡造成產生發熱現象。

3. 電纜安裝時排列過于密集,通風散熱效果不好,或電纜靠近其他熱源太近,影響了電纜的正常散熱,也有可能造成電纜在運行中產生發熱現象

4. 接頭制造技術不好,壓接不緊密,造成接頭處接觸電阻過大,也會造成電纜產生發熱現象

5. 鎧裝電纜局部護套破損,進水后對絕緣性能造成緩慢破壞作用,造成絕緣電阻逐步降低,也會造成電纜運行中產生發熱現象  電纜產生發熱現象后,如不找到原因及時排除故障,電纜繼續連續通電運行后將產生絕緣熱擊穿現象。造成電纜發生相見短路跳閘現象,嚴重的可能引起火災。
