阻燃機理

(1)在燃燒反應的熱作用下,位于凝聚相的阻燃劑分解吸熱,使凝聚相內溫度上升減慢,延緩了材料的熱分解速度;

(2)阻燃劑受熱分解后,釋放出連鎖反應自由基阻斷劑,使火焰、連鎖反應的分支中斷,減緩了氣相反應速度;

(3)催化凝聚相熱分解固相產物,焦化層或泡沫層的形成加強了這些層狀硬殼阻礙熱傳遞的作用;

(4)在熱作用下,阻燃劑出現吸熱性相變,物理性地阻止凝聚相內溫度升高。

耐火機理

(1)在耐火電纜的絕緣和護套材料中加入某種添加劑,降低聚合物產生的熱量,防止聚合物分解或絕緣和護套材料炭化形成保護層;

(2)在線芯處增加一層云母玻璃絲帶等無機絕緣材料,在絕緣和護套層被火燃蝕后,*纏包在導體上的云母耐火帶保護而繼續通電,從而在著火時保持時間的正常運行。

3.礦物絕緣電纜機理利用金屬水合物的吸收效應使電纜具有阻燃性。例如:用Al(OH)3和Mg(OH):作為阻燃劑,高溫作業下Al(OH)3為34.6%,Mg(OH)z為31%,(見反應式1及反應式2),反應分解為吸熱反應,因而可以抑制高聚物的燃燒。
